What is FiberNet?

LTC Connect is in the process of replacing its current network with a state-of-the-art fiber optic network that will carry communication services using light waves instead of electricity. In the communications industry, such networks are known as Fiber-to-the-Home or FTTH. FTTH is the most advanced communications system available in the world today.  Our FTTH network is called FiberNet.

Although our copper network allowed us to offer superior quality communication services, copper networks will be unable to provide new and exciting technologies like 100 Mb Internet service, HD streaming video, advanced voice services, and many others. LTC Connect is going all the way to your home with FiberNet, and that will allow us to offer the fastest, most reliable, most capable, highest quality communication products available anywhere.

Technical support is available 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.

What are the Benefits of Fiber-to-the-Home?

1. More Bandwidth

Fiber supports large amounts of data and can keep up with consumer and technology demands. Fiber has the capability to transport virtually unlimited bandwidth so you will be able to get lightning fast Internet speeds.

2. Future Proof

FTTH is considered “future proof” and offers the flexibility to deliver additional services in the years to come.

3. Adds Value to Your Home and the Community

By gaining access to the fiber network, property and homes become more desirable, increasing the overall value. Plus, there is potential for increased economic development due to the advanced technology available. Rural customers are able to compete on a global scale in their work or business.

4. Greater Reliability

There is higher stability and fewer interruptions with FTTH. Since fiber is made of glass and does not conduct electricity, it is less susceptible to corrosion or power surges from lightning and other sources, resulting in greater reliability.

LTC Connect will provide a FREE router with each FiberNet connection, and these routers come with managed Wi-Fi enabled for FREE as well.
NOTE: The free managed Wi-Fi is available on one router.  If your home or business needs extended Wi-Fi coverage, check out our additional managed Wi-Fi options!
